What is screenwriting software?

So, what is screenwriting software? Well, put quite simply it is software that will help you write a screenplay - or at least, that's what it should do.
Unfortunately there are products on the market that claim to help you write a screenplay when in fact all they do is format your text. They are essentially word processors that will format your text but won't actually help you in the writing process - you'll still be faced with 120 blank pages(!), and you'll have to write your screenplay from start to finish in a linear fashion... That's not how most peoples minds work, so that's why we created SceneWriter Pro.
