Getting Started - (The SceneWriter Pro Tutorial)

This tutorial is not designed to teach you how to write your screenplay. It is designed so that you get the most out of SceneWriter Pro, so that the actual writing of your screenplay becomes much easier.

In this tutorial, you will learn how to do the following:

• Create a new project
• Add scenes / outline
• Develop scenes
• Write the text
• Develop characters
• Check your spelling
• Save your project
• Preview your script

As mentioned in the welcome screen, you may navigate the tutorial either by directly clicking on the links in the contents bar to the left, or by the previous and next page arrow buttons at the top and bottom of each page.

This Getting Started tutorial assumes the following (defaults) are true:

• The Welcome Wizard is enabled.
• SceneWriter Pro is running under its default workspace scheme, "Full Scheme".
• You have not modified any of the Helpers.
• SceneTime™ is enabled.
• Underline spelling errors is not enabled.
• It also assumes that your screen resolution is set to at least 1024 x 768.
