F2 (The Page)

To concentrate on your writing, you may use "The Page" scheme to provide you with a pseudo-WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) page layout without any other open windows.

To make life easier, you may toggle between "The Page" and your usual scheme by pressing the F2 key on your keyboard.

Clutter-Free Desktop

For a completely clutter-free writing environment, you may also hide your windows desktop icons and Start Bar by choosing "Hide desktop icons and Windows Start bar" from the General Options window.
