Spelling & Language

There are three ways to spell check your scene in SceneWriter Pro:

1. From the Tools menu, choose "Spelling...".
2. On your keyboard, press F7.
3. RIGHT-CLICK the Scene Editor, and choose "Spelling..." from the pop-up menu.

Underlining errors as you type

You may underline spelling errors as you type by clicking on the ABC icon in the Scene Editor.

Thesaurus

There are three ways to activate the thesaurus in SceneWriter Pro:

1. From the Tools menu, choose "Language" then "Thesaurus".
2. On your keyboard, press SHIFT+F7.
3. RIGHT-CLICK the Scene Editor, and choose "Thesaurus..." from the pop-up menu.

Language

SceneWriter Pro ships with the American dictionary and thesaurus, but you may download further dictionaries from our website.

Follow the instructions provided on the download page to install the dictionaries. You may then select them in SceneWriter Pro by going to the TOOLS menu and choosing "Set Language...":
