Previewing your project

Before Printing, Exporting or Creating a PDF file, it is always a good idea to preview your script with SceneWriter Pro's built-in What You See Is What You Get (WYSIWYG) Print Preview feature. This will render your script on screen exactly as it would be printed.

To preview your script, from the File menu, choose "Print Preview..." a window will appear asking you if you'd like to preview only the scene that's currently highlighted, or the entire project. Once you've selected the preview range, the Print Preview window will then be displayed.

• To magnify, right click on the page.
• To move up and down through the pages, either click on the navigation buttons in the top tool bar, or use the PgUp and PgDn buttons on your keyboard.
• To scroll up and down the page, simply click and drag.

To cancel the Print Preview window, either press the "Cancel" button, or press the Esc key on your keyboard.

Time your script

As an added extra, the Print Preview window also contains a stopwatch for you to time your project as you are reading:

To start / pause the timer, either:

• Press the "P" button
• Use the SPACEBAR

To reset the timer, press the "R" button.
