Add or modify Slug Lines

You may manually type your slug line (see note below), or use SceneWriter Pro's auto-slug line method.

To use the auto-slug line method, make sure you are in the Slug Line Element and RIGHT-CLICK the mouse button. Three drop-down boxes will appear, corresponding to the INTRO, LOCATION and TIME information needed for creating slug lines:

The first and third drop-down lists gather their information from the Helpers window, which can be found in the Tools menu. You may add or remove intros and times there.

The second drop-down / edit box is for the actual location. If you have no locations in your Locations window, type your location here and it will automatically be added to the Locations window for you to reuse the next time you create a slug line with the same location.

Once you are happy with your slug line, click the OK button, or to cancel any changes, press the Esc key.

NOTE: By default, SceneWriter Pro is setup to to activate the auto-slug line method by pressing any key - not just by DOUBLE-CLICKing. If you wish to write manual slug lines, you may prevent this from happening by un-checking "Any key inserts slug in Slug element" in the General Options window.
