Sub Slug Lines

SceneWriter Pro will only allow one Slug Line Element per scene - and that must reside at the top of the scene - however, sometimes there will be instances when you require to insert partial, or "sub" slug lines into your scene.

For example, take a look at the following:

INT. JASON'S HOUSE - DAY

Something happens here...

INT. JASON'S HOUSE - BEDROOM - DAY

Something else happens here...

INT. JASON'S HOUSE - KITCHEN - DAY

Something else happens here...

Because the "main" locations and times are the same for all three scenes, they can be written in shorthand by ommiting the INT. JASON'S HOUSE and DAY from the slug lines and creating "sub" slug lines:

INT. JASON'S HOUSE - DAY

Something happens here...

BEDROOM

Something else happens here...

KITCHEN

Something else happens here...

As SceneWriter Pro only allows you to insert slug lines at the top of a scene, the method for inserting "sub" slug lines is to write them in the Direction element, and uppercase the text.
